Welcoming Stephen Harrison to Sodi-Tech UK!
We’re thrilled to announce that Stephen Harrison has joined Sodi-Tech UK, bringing with him a wealth of experience and expertise in EDM applications. Stephen’s journey in engineering began with a four-year apprenticeship, where he honed his skills in the EDM department, working on press tools for the automotive industry.
From there, his career has gone from strength to strength: He transitioned to a specialist subcontract EDM shop, focusing on wire and sinker work for the fast-paced world of Formula 1. He then took charge of the EDM department at a larger company, supporting the aerospace and motorsport sectors. Moving onto the global stage, Stephen worked for a renowned company supplying extrusion and press tools, including carbide drills.
Stephen’s passion for EDM took him into applications, where he travelled extensively to Japan, Singapore, Ireland, and Germany, supporting both sales teams and customers with his expertise. Now, he brings that same dedication and knowledge to Sodi-Tech, where he’ll continue to thrive in the role of Applications Engineer. We’re excited to have Stephen on board as part of the Sodi-Tech family and can’t wait to see the impact of his experience and enthusiasm on our team and our customers.
