At Sodi-Tech EDM, we’re always proud to showcase the latest and most capable EDM machines from Sodick – and the AL80G is no exception.

As one of the larger die-sink EDM models in the Sodick range, the AL80G is designed for heavy-duty work while maintaining Sodick’s renowned precision and reliability. The machine is currently on display and running at our UK showroom, giving visitors a hands-on opportunity to explore its features and capabilities.

Configured for Performance

The AL80G in our showroom is set up with the large ceramic table, offering excellent electrical conductivity, thermal stability, and wear resistance – all essential qualities for consistent, high-quality EDM work. The ceramic components, a hallmark of Sodick’s engineering, contribute to long-term performance and accuracy over the machine’s lifetime.

Fitted to the machine is System 3R workholding, which allows for instant part changeovers with zero setup time. This makes the AL80G not only accurate and powerful but also ideal for workshops where productivity and quick turnaround are essential.

To complete the demonstration setup, the machine is running a graphite electrode supplied by Erodex, a trusted partner and one of the leading names in EDM graphite and consumables.
