Sodick Europe

Last week, a select group of customers from across Europe and the UK had the unique opportunity to visit Bangkok for an exclusive four-day event organized by Sodick Europe and Sodi-Tech UK. The visit provided an in-depth look into Sodick’s innovative manufacturing processes, offering an unparalleled behind-the-scenes experience at their state-of-the-art facilities.

During the event, attendees participated in comprehensive factory tours, gaining valuable insights into the design and production of Sodick’s world-renowned machines. From start to finish, the visitors were shown how these cutting-edge machines are made, with a focus on the craftsmanship and precision that goes into each model.

Sodick is widely recognised for its range of high-performance machines, including wire EDM, Sinker EDM, linear motor-driven machines, and injection molding systems. The company is known for its commitment to precision engineering, and every machine is meticulously built to deliver exceptional performance and accuracy. Key to this precision is the hand scraping of the castings, a technique that ensures the finest tolerances for the most demanding applications. Additionally, all Sodick machines come with a ten-year guarantee, underscoring the company’s confidence in the durability and longevity of its products.

A standout feature of Sodick’s technology is their innovative linear motor drive system, which provides faster speeds, higher accuracy, and minimal maintenance. This cutting-edge technology is a testament to Sodick’s focus on improving operational efficiency and enhancing machine performance.

To capture the excitement of the event and showcase the advanced capabilities of Sodick machines, MTDCNC joined the visit to document the experience. Video content will be available on both the MTDCNC and Sodick channels, giving viewers an in-depth look at the factory tours, the machines in action, and interviews with key figures from the event.

“We are thrilled to have had the opportunity to bring our customers to Thailand and offer them an inside look at how we design and manufacture our machines. The feedback has been fantastic, and we look forward to sharing the content with a wider audience through MTDCNC and our own platforms,” said Greg Capp, Sales Director at Sodi-Tech UK.

Stay tuned for more videos and insights from the event, coming soon to the MTDCNC and Sodick channels.
