Sodi-Tech UK Welcomes MTDCNC to Spotlight the Team Behind Sodick’s Success
This week, Sodi-Tech UK was delighted to welcome a film crew from MTDCNC to our headquarters for a special digital feature focused on the people powering Sodick’s technology across Europe.
The goal of the project is simple: to help our community and customers get to know the experts behind our service, support, and applications — the individuals who ensure Sodick machines remain at peak performance in the field.
Featured in this round of filming were:
🔹 Noriaki Gotani — Based in the UK and originally from Japan, Noriaki supports Sodick’s European dealer network, ensuring seamless performance for every machine. He’s quickly adapting to British life, though he still prefers sushi over fish and chips — a moment that certainly brought some smiles on set!
🔹 Aaron Holdstock — Aaron’s path to Sodick is a remarkable one. Personally selected by CEO Peter Capp, he successfully relocated from South Africa to join our service team. His gratitude and passion for his work are truly inspiring.
🔹 Ian Maye — With a natural presence on camera, Ian shared insights into how dramatically the industry has evolved and how exciting it is to be part of that progress.
🔹 Stephen Harrison — A wealth of knowledge in EDM applications, Steve highlighted the growing importance of material innovation — noting how advancements once measured in months are now achieved in days.
🔹 Peter Capp — Our CEO provided a strategic look at how Sodick Europe is evolving to support the rapidly changing demands of modern manufacturing, ensuring we remain ready to tackle any challenge.
