Sodi-Tech Celebrates 35 Years in Business
Just over 35 years ago, Peter Capp had a vision. Today, that vision has grown into an incredible success story, with Sodi-Tech firmly established as one of the UK’s leading names in the sales and support of EDM machinery.
Last week, the Sodi-Tech team celebrated an important milestone — 35 years in business — recognising more than three decades of growth, technical expertise, customer support and commitment to the UK manufacturing industry.
Since its beginnings, Sodi-Tech has built a reputation around not just supplying advanced EDM technology, but supporting customers throughout the entire life of their machines. That combination of technology, service and experience has been central to the company’s success and has helped build long-standing relationships with manufacturers across the country.
At the heart of that journey has been Peter Capp, whose original vision laid the foundations for the business Sodi-Tech has become today. Over the last 35 years, the company has continued to evolve alongside the manufacturing sector, supporting customers as EDM technology has become faster, more accurate and increasingly sophisticated.
The anniversary was marked by a special presentation from Manabu of Sodick Europe, who presented Peter with a commemorative gift in recognition of the milestone.
It was a fitting moment to celebrate not only Peter’s contribution, but also the many employees, customers, suppliers and partners who have played a part in Sodi-Tech’s journey over the last three and a half decades.
The relationship between Sodi-Tech and Sodick Europe has been a key part of that success, helping to bring advanced Sodick EDM technology to manufacturers across the UK while maintaining the high levels of service and technical support customers expect.
